Disney Cruise Line cancels December 2012 Mexican Riviera sailings

Disney Cruise Line is cancelling all Mexican Riviera sailings scheduled for December 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2012 on the Disney Wonder. Details have not been released yet explaining what prompted the change, but speculation on the DISboards is that the Wonder will be moving back to the East Coast, or will possibly offer another of the popular Hawaii sailings.

Guests who are currently booked on one of these sailings will need to move their reservation to another available sail date of a 7-night or longer sailing. If guests move their reservations by 12/22/11, they are eligible for an onboard credit, in addition to any that they may already qualify for. For the 12/09/12 and 12/16/12 sailings, guests will receive a $250 onboard credit. For the 12/23/12 and 12/30/12 sailings, they will receive a $500 onboard credit. If guests do not move their reservation by 12/22/11, they will automatically be placed on the 12/02/12 Mexican Riviera sailing.

Disney has set up a special phone number to handle the changes to existing reservations: 1-866-325-3905.
