Disney announced today that the Main Street Electrical Parade will be concluding an over 6-year-long run at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World on October 9, 2016. Disney reports record quarterly revenue despite lower attendance

In today’s investors’ conference call, Christine McCarthy, Chief Financial Office for the Walt Disney Company, reported that Parks and Resorts division revenue was up for the third fiscal quarter, yet attendance at domestic theme parks was down. Deputies arrest man trying to bring a gun into the Magic Kingdom

Orange County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested a man yesterday for trying to bring a gun into the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Disney Theatrical and Frozen director part ways

Disney Theatrical Productions has “chosen to go in another direction” in regards to their upcoming Broadway production of “Frozen,” so director Alex Timbers has left the production. Judge allows false advertising case against SeaWorld to continue

United States District Judge Jeffrey White has denied SeaWorld’s request to dismiss a pending false advertising lawsuit against the company. The suit was filed by Marc Anderson and three other plaintiffs who believe SeaWorld was not as focused on conservation and animal welfare as they claimed to be.  The plaintiffs will now be allowed to Judge allows false advertising case against SeaWorld to continue

Afternoon Tea at the Disneyland Hotel gets a Halloween makeover

Beginning September 30th, the Classic Afternoon Tea at Steakhouse 55 in the Disneyland Hotel becomes a “Trick or Tea,” featuring seasonal teas and special treats. The special seasonal treats start with a maple pecan scone, then move on to chocolate-dipped strawberries painted to look like Jack Skellington. Brief power outage at the Disneyland Resort

Wednesday night, there was a power outage in the city of Anaheim that affected Disneyland and surrounding neighborhoods. Paint The Night parade ending on September 5th

Disneyland has quietly confirmed on its @DisneylandToday Twitter feed that Paint The Night will “conclude” September 5, 2016. In a several replies to posts on Twitter, @DisneylandToday confirmed that the parade would be ending, apologized for the disappointment, and reminded readers that the shows were specifically created for the Diamond Celebration. Disneyland confirms return of Fantasy in The Sky fireworks

After yesterday’s confirmation that the original World of Color would be returning following the end of the Diamond Celebration, today the Disneyland Resort finally confirmed that Fantasy in the Sky will be replacing the Disneyland Forever fireworks. Rumors that Disneyland Forever would be going away following the Diamond Celebration have been swirling for awhile, but Disneyland confirms return of Fantasy in The Sky fireworks
