Brief power outage at the Disneyland Resort

Wednesday night, there was a power outage in the city of Anaheim that affected Disneyland and surrounding neighborhoods. Paint The Night parade ending on September 5th

Disneyland has quietly confirmed on its @DisneylandToday Twitter feed that Paint The Night will “conclude” September 5, 2016. In a several replies to posts on Twitter, @DisneylandToday confirmed that the parade would be ending, apologized for the disappointment, and reminded readers that the shows were specifically created for the Diamond Celebration. Disneyland confirms return of Fantasy in The Sky fireworks

After yesterday’s confirmation that the original World of Color would be returning following the end of the Diamond Celebration, today the Disneyland Resort finally confirmed that Fantasy in the Sky will be replacing the Disneyland Forever fireworks. Disneyland app now allows dining reservations

The latest version of Disneyland’s smartphone app now allows guests to make dining reservations directly through app. Guests can also cancel and make changes to existing reservations via the app. Previously, guests were directed to the Disneyland website on their smartphone’s web browser to make reservations. World of Color-Celebrate! to end September 5th

Disneyland has confirmed today via their @DisneylandToday Twitter account that World of Color-Celebrate! won’t continue beyond the end of the Diamond Celebration “The final showing of World of Color – Celebrate! takes place September 5, 2016.” World of Color-Celebrate! Local rock bands returning to Disneyland

Beginning August 6, live music is returning to the Tomorrowland Terrace stage in Disneyland Park. Airbnb sues Anaheim over possible fines from short-term rental ban

Airbnb, a website specializing in short-term vacation home rentals, has filed a lawsuit against Anaheim over fines relating to the city’s recent ban on short-term rentals. After complaints from residents, the City Council voted last month to phase out short-term rentals.
