Disney Lakeshore Lodge – Disney Vacation Club

Lakeshore Lodge

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Overview

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is a new Disney Vacation Club resort opening July 1, 2027, along the shores of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World. The resort will feature 967 accommodations, ranging from studios designed for two guests to multi-bedroom villas, resort rooms, club-level accommodations, and freestanding waterfront Lake Houses.

Nature is at the heart of the resort’s design, with natural materials, earthy colors, and artwork inspired by Disney films that celebrate the outdoors. Different room categories will draw inspiration from Encanto, Bambi, Fantasia, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear, giving each style of accommodation its own character while tying into the larger Lakeshore Lodge theme.

The concept art below shows details for The Wetlands, the outdoor recreation area planned for Disney Lakeshore Lodge. The three new renderings offer a close look at what to expect from the pool complex, lazy river, and children’s water play areas.

Waterfront Lake Houses

One of the most distinctive accommodation options at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will be its one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses, a room type created specifically for the resort.

Located along Bay Lake, these freestanding accommodations will feature dramatic A-frame architecture and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water. One-bedroom Lake Houses will sleep up to five guests, while two-bedroom versions will accommodate up to eight.

Each Lake House will include a private waterfront porch, full kitchen, and washer and dryer. Inside, the design takes inspiration from Disney Animation’s Brother Bear, incorporating artwork and details influenced by the film’s Alaskan setting and its connection to nature. The primary bedroom will also feature a Northern Lights-inspired lighting effect designed to create a soft glow after dark.

Duo Studios

Designed for two guests, Duo Studios will be among the smallest accommodations at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge. These colorful rooms are inspired by Disney Animation’s Encanto and offer an option for couples or solo travelers who don’t need the additional space found in the larger studios and villas.

Deluxe Studios

Deluxe Studios will sleep up to four guests and feature a woodland-inspired design based on Disney Animation’s Bambi. Natural materials and warm colors will be paired with original concept artwork from the Walt Disney Archives, connecting the rooms to the film without overwhelming the overall nature-inspired design of the resort.

One- and Two-Bedroom Villas

Guests looking for more room can choose from one- and two-bedroom villas, which continue the Bambi-inspired design found in the Deluxe Studios.

One-bedroom villas will accommodate up to five guests, while two-bedroom villas will sleep as many as nine. Both categories will include a full kitchen, washer and dryer, private patio, and separate living and dining spaces, making them especially useful for families planning longer Walt Disney World stays.

The villas will feature earth tones, forest-inspired details, and artwork reflecting the natural landscapes seen in Bambi.

Three-Bedroom Grand Villas

For larger and multigenerational groups, the three-bedroom Grand Villas will accommodate up to 12 guests.

These accommodations take their inspiration from Disney Animation’s Fantasia and will include multiple bathrooms, a full kitchen, private patio, and large spaces where families and groups can gather together. Grand Villas will also offer views overlooking Bay Lake.

Resort Studios and Resort Studio King Rooms

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge won’t consist solely of traditional Disney Vacation Club villas. The resort will also feature Resort Studios, which accommodate up to four guests, and Resort Studio King Rooms for up to two guests.

These rooms are inspired by Disney Animation’s Pocahontas, using earthy colors and artwork from the Walt Disney Archives to reflect the film’s landscapes and connection with the natural world.

Club Level and The Artist's Nest

Select Club Level Resort Rooms will include access to The Artist’s Nest, the concierge lounge at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge.

Located above the treetops, The Artist’s Nest will offer Club Level guests personalized service and complimentary refreshments. Its elevated location will also provide views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, giving guests another way to enjoy the nighttime spectacular without leaving the resort.

Hidden Willow Presidential Suite

The Hidden Willow Presidential Suite will be one of the most spacious and upscale accommodations at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge.

Sleeping up to six guests, the suite will include two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Guests staying in the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite will also have access to The Artist’s Nest.

The suite overlooks Bay Lake and is positioned to offer views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks at night, combining some of the resort’s best views with its most elevated accommodations.

Disney Lakeshore Lodge, formerly named Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge, is the new Disney Vacation Club property set to open on July 1, 2027. The new resort is located between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on the former River Country grounds.
