Disney Cruise Line Blog has shared that the Disney Fantasy was testing a free Apple iMessage service on a recent sailing. At check-in, guests were given a handout advising them to make sure that they had the most recent version of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before the ship left the port.
The handout contained relevant reminders on using the free app once onboard along with a mention of complimentary text messages via Apple iMessage between other guests not only onboard, but folks back at home too.
As of now, this is just in the testing phase on the Disney Fantasy and it hasn’t been confirmed as a feature that will roll out to the entire fleet. We’ll keep you posted.
