Disney Cruise Line Makes Weather-Related Changes to Eastbound Panama Canal Cruise

Disney Cruise Line has notified passengers set to board the Disney Wonder tomorrow that they are making an adjustment to the Eastbound Panama Canal itinerary due to weather concerns.

Forecasts show that a low pressure system in the Pacific could develop into a tropical storm or depression (Vicente) over the weekend off the coast of Mexico.

To ensure guests’ safety, the ship is replacing its scheduled Monday stop at Puerto Vallarta with a relaxing day at sea.

Any Port Adventures that were pre-booked have been removed.

The Wonder will sail from San Diego on Friday, October 19th, with a day at sea on Saturday and a stop in Cabo San Lucas on Sunday, then several days at sea before traveling through the Panama Canal on Saturday, October 27th. The ship is scheduled to arrive in Galveston, Texas on Friday, November 2nd.
