The Disney Magic is just getting started with its 2018 summer visit to Europe, but Disney Cruise Line is already looking ahead to 2019, when the ship will make its first round trip voyage from Civitavecchia, near Rome.
This special 8-night sailing will not only give a chance for guests to tour Rome, but also stop at five other beautiful cities in Italy, Spain, and France.
Guests are encouraged to arrive several days early in Rome to explore all that the city has to offer. Explore the history of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, take in the beauty of the Trevi Fountain and St. Peter’s Basilica, or just enjoy the homemade pastas, creamy gelatos, and local wines.
For even more magic while in Rome, Adventures by Disney offers a Rome Short Escape that includes VIP access to some of the most popular sites and attractions. The 3-night adventure features after-hours visits to the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel.
Once onboard the Magic, guests will first visit Salerno, Italy to explore the remnants of Pompeii or the Amalfi coast.
After a relaxing sea day, the ship stops in La Spezia, Italy, where excursions will take you to Florence or Pisa.
Next the ship visits Villefranche, France, with excursions in to Nice, then Marseilles, France and Barcelona, Spain. All three coastal cities will provide amazing culinary experiences, unique shopping opportunities, and breathtaking views.
After another day at sea, the ship returns to Rome, where guests can continue to explore the ancient city. This unique voyage departs June 14, 2019 aboard the beautiful Disney Magic.
