Disney CFO Rasulo to step down

Disney has confirmed that Jay Rasulo will step down from his position as Chief Financial Officer of the Walt Disney Company effective June 30th. Rasulo was recently passed over for the position of Chief Operating Officer in favor of Tom Staggs, former head of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, with whom he switched jobs in Disney CFO Rasulo to step down

D23 Expo adds new 7,500-seat venue

D23: The Official Disney Fan Club has announced that for this year’s D23 Expo they have added a new 7,500-seat venue (“Hall D23”) that will be located in Hall D of the Anaheim Convention Center floor, allowing more guests to see some of the larger presentations. Committee recommends keeping TSA officers at Orlando International Airport

There’s been a lot of discussion lately about removing the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers from the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and replacing them with private security. A committee from the airport has now recommended to keep the TSA officers, but to have them meet set guidelines of performance standards. Michael Graves, architect of several Disney buildings, dies at age 80

Michael Graves, the architect who designed the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, died Thursday, March 13, at the age of 80. Graves was known for his “whimsical post-modern style” and designed buildings all over the world.
