The Disney Magic has returned from a quick dry-dock, and thanks to a helpful guest onboard, we have a look at the menu for Rapunzel’s Royal Table, the new restaurant that replaces Carioca’s.
Guests can now step into the ballroom of the royal castle and join in the joyful celebration of Rapunzel’s birthday. They’ll be entertained by a joyous band of musicians, the mischievous Snuggly Duckling Thugs, and Princess Rapunzel herself!
The menu is filled with references to Tangled, including a Maximus Salad, Flynn Rider Platter, and Gothel Blackforest Tower.
Appetizers include the Snuggly Duckling Platter charcuterie plate with German mustard and Crisp Isle of Corona Shrimp with a lemon-tarragon cape mayonnaise.
The Maximus Salad has cucumber salad, potato salad, and carrot salad topped with baby oakleaf and lolla rosa. Soups include Potato Cream Soup and Green Asparagus & Broccoli Soup.
The Flynn Rider Platter features grilled smoked pork loin, roasted smoked pork belly, bockwurst, braised red cabbage, fried potato dumplings, and a Spatburgender wine jus. Tangled Pasta is made with angel hair pasta tossed in basil-pesto with caramelized sea scallops, roasted vine tomatoes, and a sun dried tomato tapenade served with roasted Meyer lemon. Other entrees include Pan-seared Sea Bass Filet and Chili-spiced Tofu Ramen.
For dessert, Gothel’s Blackforest Tower includes rich chocolate creme, cherry compote, and chocolate cake tower. Other desserts are Rapunzel’s Fry Pan Sweet Bread and Warm Braided Apple Strudel.
The Magic leaves today from Miami on a 5-Night Bahamian Cruise. Her itineraries vary, but in addition to Bahamian and Caribbean sailings, the Magic also sails from New York City and visits Europe during the summer.
