The DIS Weekly Update!

The DIS Weekly Update! The DIS thedisweekly

We have made it through another week! The news wasn’t anything out of this world this week, but let’s take a look at the articles that were posted on the site.

Monday is strictly for Disney merchandise and our merch expert Zoë gave us a rundown on what’s new. This was when we got a look at the complete Mickey Ice Cream Collection, finally. We also broke down the different entertainment that can be found at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. A Disney Cruise Line update came out on Monday as well. This update was a change in the vaccination policy.

On Tuesday, the excellent Contributor Shari shared her favorite ways to park hop between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. We also discussed the three must-dos at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. More importantly, we spoke about the brief closure of the skyline that is coming early next year.

Yay! we’ve made it to the halfway point! On Wednesday, we started our day ranking our favorite and least favorite sidekicks with Zoë. Then we looked at the tours that will be making their way back to EPCOT for the 40th anniversary of the park. We also saw more nights of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party sell out.

Thursday finally arrived! On Thursday, we talked with Contributor Jessica about the Disney treats we like to share with friends. The treats that could possibly convert them into Disney fans. We also took a look at some new MagicBand+ designs that came out. Then we discuss the Mac & Eats booth at EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. It is so delicious.

We made it to Friday, everyone! I hope that you all have had a wonderful week. Today Contributor Erica took us to Hollywood Studios to see the best nighttime photo spots. The areas she shows us are gorgeous; you have to see them. We also looked at the new BoardWalk Deli that opened this week. It was nice to try some new food! Disney also released the Foodie Guide for Princess Week, and the treats are sooooo adorable. Last but not least, we got an update on the Moana attraction that’s coming to EPCOT.

Make sure you follow us on social media to keep up with what’s happening in the parks throughout the week. On Instagram, you can find us at @the.dis; on Twitter, we are @TheDis; and on TikTok, we are @wdwinfo. We hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and we will see you on Monday.

Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
