
The Disney Park Blog has some suggestions for seasonal treats at Walt Disney World that will get you in the fall spirit, even if the thermometer doesn’t quite agree yet.
Some of these treats will go away as the jack-o’-lantern light fades, others will be around a little longer.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, visit Rosie’s All-American Cafe or the ABC Commissary for the Peanut Butter & Chocolate Coffin Cake or the Chocolate & Orange Cream Parfait through Halloween. Also through Halloween, look for the Chocolate & Caramel Apple or Chocolate Cake topped with chocolate mouse and chocolate Mickey ears at Trolley Car Cafe.
At the Isle of Java in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, don’t miss the Apple Cider Donut Holes. Now through November 1st, Creature Comforts, Pizzafari, and Restaurantosaurus will be serving a special Halloween Cupcake featuring yellow cake filled with pumpkin mousse and topped with cinnamon buttercream.
Across at Epcot, look for another Halloween Cupcake through October 31st at Fountain View. This one is a chocolate cupcake filled with chocolate mousse and topped with green and purple buttercream, a chocolate bat, and orange sprinkles.
Continuing through November 18th, Le Cellier Steakhouse has a Autumn Poulet Rouge Roulade served with cornbread stuffing with cranberries, golden raisins, pecans, sweet potato espuma, rainbow chard, and pecan vinaigrette. Also try the Brown Butter-Basted George’s Bank Scallops with pumpkin risotto, Brussels sprouts, fig and pomegranate slaw, red wine syrup, and pumpkin seed brittle.
Head over to Sunshine Seasons for a Pumpkin Bundt Cake, served now through Christmas. The Monster’s Inc. Cupcake, made with chocolate cake and salted pretzel mousse filling, is around until Halloween.
The resort hotels will be celebrating fall as well!
At the Gasparilla Island Grill in Disney’s Grand Floridan Resort & Spa, look for the Harvest Pumpkin Cake, with cinnamon sponge cake and pumpkin cream filling, through Halloween. Wash it down with the Frozen or Hot Pumpkin Latte available through November 3th. A Pumpkin Cranberry Muffin will be around November 15th through December 31st.
At Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, head over to Roaring Fork through Halloween for the Poison Apple Cupcake, made with apple-flavored cake, caramel filling, and a chocolate ganache. On October 30th and 31st, grab the Going Batty Cupcake, featuring chocolate cake, buttercream icing, ganache icing, and a sugar cookie bat.
Trail’s End To-Go and Chuckwagon at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort have a Candy Corn Cupcake now through Halloween, with vanilla cake and candy corn buttercream.
Inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the Contempo Cafe will be featuring several special items. Available October 28th to 31st, Minnie’s Not-So-Scary Berry Cupcake is vanilla cake with raspberry jam filling, topped with vanilla buttercream and a white chocolate witch hat filled with blackberry marshmallow. Through November 3rd, look for the Apple Cupcake, made with apple cake, apple filling, and cinnamon buttercream icing. A Pumpkin Cupcake, with cream cheese filling and caramel buttercream icing, will be available November 4th to December 1st.
Capt. Cook’s and the Kona Coffee Bar at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will have Mickey’s Haunted Chocolate Cupcake now through November 2nd. The dark chocolate cake is filled with red velvet cheesecake and topped with buttercream.
At Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, head to The Market at Ale & Compass or the Beach Club Marketplace for a variety of seasonal items. Through Halloween, grab the Caramel Candy Apple Cupcake, made with cinnamon-apple cake and chocolate caramel mousse. A Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and a Pumpkin Whoopie Pie will be available October 20th through December 1st. During November, look for a Pumpkin Cupcake.
The BoardWalk Bakery at Disney’s Boardwalk has a Candy Corn Cupcake with orange marshmallow filling now through Halloween. From November 11th to 24th, try the Pumpkin Swirl Cookie.
At Disney’s Port Orleans, visit the Riverside Mill Food Court or Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory for special treats, all available through November 1st. The Black Forest Mummy Cake is a chocolate cupcake with cherry filling and vanilla buttercream. The Pumpkin Cheesecake Cupcake has vanilla cake filled with pumpkin cheesecake, topped with cream cheese icing. Finally, at Sassagoula only, grab the Pumpkin Spice Beignets!
For Halloween weekend (October 26-31), head to The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for the Witch’s Finger Cupcake, a vanilla cupcake filled with crispy peanut butter candy.
Inside Disney’s All-Star Resorts, the Intermission Food Court, End Zone Food Court, and World Premiere Food Court will all have special items. Through Halloween, grab a Spider Cupcake, with vanilla cake filled with cookies & cream marshmallow filling, topped with orange cookie buttercream. A Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake or the Chocolate Indulgence Cake, made with Devil’s Food cake and dark ganache, are here through November 30th. Celebrate Dia de los Muertos through November 1st with the Day of the Dead Cupcake, made with chocolate cake, spiced ganache filling, and spiced buttercream.
Disney Springs still has their WonderFall Flavors map available through November 7th, but there are more treats available for the season as well.
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar has two special drinks through November 7th. The Forbidden Apple has spiced rum, sour apple pucker, cinnamon whiskey, cranberry juice, lime juice, and grenadine. The non-alcoholic Poison-Less Apple is made with Sprite with caramel and Granny Smith apple.
The Ganachery is filled with treats for the season, including the Minnie Witch or Jack Skellington Pinata’s and the Chocolate Skulls, all available through Halloween. Through November 8th, try the Cranberry Orange Ganache or Pumpkin Spice Latte Squares.
Through Halloween, grab a Pumpkin Mickey Macaron at Amorette’s Patisserie.
Sprinkles is making several special cupcakes for the season, including some topped with Halloween Candy, now through October 25th. Through Halloween, look for the Strawberry Champagne Cupcake, Pumpkin Cupcake, or the Halloween BOO Box. A Black Velvet Cupcake will be available October 26th to 31st.
If that’s not enough, all around the Walt Disney World Resort look for specialty apples, cake pops, crispy treats, cookies, and cupcakes.
