Construction continues on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where the entrance marquee is starting to reflect the attraction’s upcoming Muppets retheme. One of the most noticeable updates so far is the stretch limousine parked out front, which now appears close to its finished look.
The vehicle has been painted over with a psychedelic design that layers red, orange, and mint green flowing graphics across the original blue base, with swirls, scattered yellow stars and blue music notes.

The limo represents the ride’s in-universe band, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, who will take center stage (and on-ride speakers) of the reimagined experience.

Here’s a look at how the limo looked before for the Starring Aerosmith version, compared to today:

The new paint job will likely match the limos we will soon be “movin’ right along” in when the coaster reopens.

Along the building exterior, the attraction’s iconic towering guitar remains covered behind scaffolding and scrim as work continues. The 40-foot tall guitar is set to receive its own updated design with new show branding for “Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.”

(The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster courtyard is still accessible since this is the only path leading to Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After at the Sunset Showcase Theater.)

A psychedelic makeover will soon light up the guitar’s underside, inspired by a classic Muppet paint job. Down at the base, the piano keys will feature one golden note as tribute to Dr. Teeth.

Inside the building, updates are underway, including a new preshow featuring animatronics and a refreshed soundtrack featuring Electric Mayhem performances.
The ride system itself will remain the same, continuing to deliver its signature 0 to 57 mph in 2.8 seconds high-speed launch and inversions; reclaiming its spot as the most intense roller coaster at Walt Disney World.
Disney has officially shared a summer 2026 reopening timeframe for the attraction, though speculation suggests it could be ready sooner, possibly around Memorial Day weekend.
