The largest resort on Walt Disney World property is the Caribbean Beach
Resort with 2112 rooms. Brightly colored 2 story buildings
are clustered into 5 villages named for Caribbean islands:
Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique, Aruba, and Trinidad (separated
into North and South). The villages surround a 45
acre
lake. In the midst of the lake, you'll find Caribbean Cay Island.
It is a great place to relax with the hammocks and secluded benchs.
There is also a large playground for the children here.
Due to the vast size of the Caribbean Beach Resort, there
is an internal bus service for travelling around the resort.
Check-in, Guest Services and Bell Services are found in

Caribbean Beach Resort Rooms
Out of all the rooms at the Walt Disney World moderate resorts, the rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort are the largest, at 340 square feet. The rooms are decorated in soft pastel hues with white oak furniture accented with pineapple motifs. The rooms were recently refurbished and now have a subtle Nemo theme. Also available at a premium rate in the Trinidad South building are Pirate themed rooms. While these rooms will definitely appeal to young boys, you should be aware that the beds here are unusual in order to accommodate the bed frames. Beds in Pirate rooms consist of a box spring and 4" pillow top - but no mattress.
Most rooms have 2 double beds, a night stand, a TV, an armoire that contains the TV and fridge, a luggage rack, a small table with 2 chairs, a small wall safe, a bench with storage area, and 2 sinks in a vanity with mirrors in a vanity area separate from the tub and commode. There are rooms available with a king size bed and some of these may be handicap accessible with a wheelchair-accessible shower in place of a tub. Each room also has a coffee maker and fridge. If there are more than 2 adults in a room, there will be an additional charge of $15 per adult, per night.
TIP: The closest rooms to the main building, Old Port Royale, are found in Martinique buildings 24, 25 and 26, and in Trinidad North buildings 31, 32 and 33.
