The Disney Magic, currently on a 10-night Mediterranean cruise, spotted a small boat packed with stranded migrants who desperately needed help. The Magic was sailing between Palermo and Palma de Mallorca approximately 70 miles south of Sardinia when the small blue vessel was noticed by the crew.
According to the Disney Cruise Line Blog, the crew on the Disney Magic contacted the Italian Coast Guard to advise them of the situation. The Magic held its position for approximately four hours until they arrived.

The Disney Magic is set to return to Barcelona today, Monday, August 7.
