runDisney Reveals the 2019 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Medals


Walt Disney World's biggest race weekend of the year is nearly upon us and runDisney recently released the medal lineup for marathon participants. runDisney's 2019 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna is the largest race weekend of the year and runners and viewers alike can enjoy a wide range of entertainment and offerings. Additionally, finishers have the opportunity to earn character-specific "bling" for each of the following races: wdwmarthon1801 Walt Disney World Marathon: Mickey Medal Finish the flagship 26.2 race and receive a gold and black medal that includes a spinning Mickey Mouse medallion. Walt Disney World Half Marathon: Donald Medal Complete this 13.1 mile race to receive a medal featuring a very determined Donald Duck. Walt Disney World 10K: Minnie Medal Run 6.2 miles and receive a shiny gold and red medal starring Minnie Mouse. Walt Disney World 5K: Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Medal Marathon Weekend Medals runDisney participants who complete this 3.1 mile long race will receive an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit medal at the finish line. runDisney Kids Races: Mickey and Pluto Medals Webp.net-resizeimage-27 Little ones who finish the Kids Races will get a Mickey-themed medal and One Mile Run participants will earn a Mickey and Pluto medal. Marathon Weekend Medals Goofy's Race & A Half Challenge: Goofy Medal Runners who can complete 39.3 miles over the weekend will get a specialty Goofy medal. This challenging race combines the half and full marathon. Dopey Challenge: Dopey Medal The longest runDisney race, the Dopey Challenge rewards runners with a golden Dopey medal after completing 48.6 miles, which includes a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon. Disney Castaway Cay Challenge: Disney Cruise Line Medal Celebrating 5 years, the Disney Castaway Cay Challenge offers runners the opportunity to complete this challenge aboard their Disney Cruise Line adventure.
