UPDATE 1:11PM: According to the LA Times’ Phil Willon, California Governor Gavin Newsom’s administration has decided to delay the release of its reopening regulations for the state’s theme parks. State Legislators Send Letter to California Governor Asking Him to Reopen Theme Parks

A group of 19 California legislators from the state senate and assembly signed a letter that was sent to Governor Newsom asking that he issue guidelines that would allow theme parks across the state to reopen, including the Disneyland Resort. UPDATE 09/16/20: Officials from the Disneyland Resort itself are now adding their voices in expressing their disappointment in the progress that the state of California is making when it comes to new guidelines for theme parks.
