Concept Art Released for ‘Disney Enchantment’ Spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park

As previously announced, “Disney Enchantment” will soon grace the skies of Magic Kingdom. Debuting October 1st as part of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, the new fireworks show will include enhanced lighting, immersive projection effects that will extend down Main Street USA, stunning fireworks, and favorite Disney music. EPCOT’s Nine Dragons Restaurant Now Open on Select Days

EPCOT’s Nine Dragons Restaurant has reopened for service this week for the first time since the reopening of the park in July 2020. Nine Dragons, located in EPCOT’s China pavilion, will have operating hours each week from 4:30-8:45pm Tuesday through Saturday. Dinner selections will feature “Cantonese, Mongolian, Szechuan, Hunan, and Kiangche-style specialties,” including Crispy Duck EPCOT’s Nine Dragons Restaurant Now Open on Select Days

The Wave to Become Steakhouse 71

It has just been announced that The Wave…of American Flavors, located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, will emerge from its current refurbishment as Steakhouse 71. Details are few at this point, but it’s been said that the venue will be “a casual dining concept that gets its name from the resort’s opening year.” I personally appreciate The Wave to Become Steakhouse 71

Disney Genie: Another Money Grab?

The long-rumored paid FastPass has appeared in Disney’s recent announcement around Disney Genie, Genie+ and Lightning Lane. Disney Genie is software that will, with the assistance of AI, attempt to offer a more personalized experience to the Walt Disney World guest, offering suggestions for touring plans, dining reservations, etc. Lighting Lane is set to replace the previous Disney Genie: Another Money Grab?

Face Masks No Longer Required for Outdoor Queues & Attractions Beginning 8/19

Beginning Thursday, August 19, fully vaccinated Walt Disney World guests will no longer be required to wear facial coverings in outdoor attraction queues, in outdoor theaters, or on attractions whose ride paths remain outside. From what we understand, if a portion of an outdoor attraction enters an indoor location, facial coverings will be required to Face Masks No Longer Required for Outdoor Queues & Attractions Beginning 8/19
