Castle Holiday Shoppe Opens at Disneyland

When the Castle Heraldry Shoppe closed late last year at Disneyland Park, there was much speculation by fans as to what would be replacing it.

Many fans figured that the space would be used for a meet & greet or to extend the lengthy queue for Peter Pan’s Flight. While either of those things may happen in the future, almost no one guessed that the space would once again be a retail location, but that’s exactly what happened.

With a quick sign change and some temporary looking shelving, the Castle Holiday Shoppe opened this weekend, relocating merchandise that was sold in the Enchanted Chamber store inside Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The new shop features the usual stockings and ornaments, but will also include a Cast Member who will be available to personalize ornaments.

While “Disneyland will never be completed,” officials have said that the Castle Holiday Shoppe is a permanent installation.  The Enchanted Chamber now sells children’s costumes and accessories exclusively.
