With so many changes happening at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line, it can be hard to keep up with all of the opening and closing dates. Many of these changes were first announced during D23 in 2024 and have included changes as early as this year. Some of the bigger announcements like Cars Land and Villains Land coming to the Magic Kingdom don’t have opening timelines, but we do have timelines for major additions like five new ships joining the Disney Cruise Line fleet by 2031 and Tropical Americas Land coming to Animal Kingdom in 2027. Along the way, there have already been closures like Muppet*Vision 3D in Hollywood Studios and the Red Car Trolley in California Adventure, plus openings like Villains: Unfairly Ever After in Hollywood Studios and World of Color Happiness! in California Adventure.
While we expect to hear more details in the coming months, this list will help you plan your vacations to either say goodbye to beloved attractions or plan to see all-new lands and Disney cruise ships!
