- The Disneyland portion of the 2009 Walt Disney World Christmas Parade is tentatively scheduled to be filmed on Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Disneyland Park. Taping begins early so if you plan on attending, arrive early. Past performers have included Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers and various Disney Channel Stars.

- 2010 dates to be announced. - It's that time of the year for the whales to make their annual trip down south. Don't miss the Annual Street Fair, which is part of the Whale Festival with a weekend of fun, food, entertainment.

Laguna Beach

Toshiba Tall Ships Festival –2010 Dates to be Announced. The Tall Ships Festival is the largest annual gathering of tall ships on the West Coast. The festival will feature a spectacular array of family fun activities including live music, art & craft shows, exciting living-history demonstrations and a variety of tasty food.
Disney Vacation Club Comes West-2010 Dates to be Announced. The first Disney Vacation Club accommodations on the West Coast will welcome its first Guests at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The 50 two-bedroom-equivalent vacation villas are part of an expansion that also includes 200 new hotel rooms, a new swimming pool and underground parking. Bookings are underway for this first Disney Vacation Club on the West Coast.

Disneyland’s Halloween Time celebration runs from the end of Septemberthrough October 31st. This year Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort introduces special Halloween Fireworks and a new Halloween Space Mountain!

Familiar attractions, music, treat stations for the little ones and creepy crafts are just a few activities available during the party. The Character Cavalcade returns this year. You never know who you’ll run into on these special nights, oh and don’t forget to wear your Halloween costumes.
– Opening October 2009 - The Walt Disney Family Museum Project will be located in the Presidio of San Francisco and is projected to open its first exhibits in the fall of 2009. The museum is a family endeavor and will tell the story of Walt Disney's life.

The annual CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County) 5K walk to raise money for CHOC will give walkers unique opportunity to walk through Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure Park before they officially open for the day. After the Walk, festivities will be underway in Downtown Disney District, where shops, restaurants and booths will offer more fun for everyone! In addition, the Disneyland Resort will offer to walkers with wristbands a specially priced 1-day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper ticket to return to Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure Park. |
